Michelangelo Film is an Italian production company headquartered in Milan, dedicated to the creation of high-quality documentaries. The company develops creative and compelling projects built on universal stories, often conceived for international co-productions involving the artistic contribution of foreign partners. Michelangelo Pastore serves as Sole Director of the company, which he manages together with Pepi Romagnoli.
Studies at the Piccolo Teatro of Milano where she earns a degree in Directing, followed by a degree in Art History from the State University of Milan.
She works as assistant director and then First AD, both in theater and film, as well as in television. Her directorial debut is the medium-length film “COURTYARD WINDOWS” / TRE FINESTRE SUL CORTILE – a visionary work about love that screens at various festivals and is reviewed as a film that evokes the atmosphere of Michelangelo Antonioni and Ingmar Bergman.
She works as director in documentaries and industrial films, a sector in which she makes films on subjects ranging from environmental remediation: “GREEN ECOLOGY IN THE FUTURE OF MINING,” to the construction of prefabricated houses for South Africa: “ITALIAN HOUSING PROGRAMME,” but also topics of a more spiritual nature like that focused on Raja Yoga Meditation, created for the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University: “WHAT DOES IT COST TO BECOME AN ANGEL?” All of these documentaries were written and directed with the aim of shaping their stories as closely as possible around the narrative arc of a feature film.
